Softer, Smoother Skin Even in Cold Weather? You Bet!
What if I told you that I was going to drop you in an arctic-like climate, with incredibly dry conditions, but that your ageing, mature skin would actually improve over five weeks?
Well, I tested out three products from a skincare line from France called Filorga when I was in one of the chilliest spots in Canada: Edmonton, Alberta. I definitely noticed an improvement and wanted to share my results.
Meso Absolute Wrinkle Serum
I applied this to my clean, dry face day and night and discovered a lovely texture that just melts into your skin.
Here’s a tip: a little goes a very long way, which is nice.
I found Meso Absolute Wrinkle Serum to be one of the only serums I’ve come across that is gentle enough for the eyelids.
It contains hyaluronic acid, which is a molecule that can hold up to a thousand times its weight in water! That’s what gives you the plumping effect, which I love at this age. The serum also has encapsulated Retin A, which stimulates cell turnover and results in smoother skin.
I like to apply my eye cream before the moisturizer. The skin around the eyes is much thinner than the rest of our face and can’t tolerate many of the stronger ingredients in face creams. Eye creams are formulated for that delicate skin, and this one really delivers.
Time-Filler Eyes helps with wrinkles and dark circles, lifts the eyelids and even has a lash booster. Its velvety texture is a little thicker than the serum and absorbs perfectly so you can apply makeup right after.
It also contains peptides, which I love. Peptides stimulate your own collagen and elastin production, which is a big plus for mature skin.
This light cream seals in the Meso Absolute Wrinkle Serum. It contains two types of hyaluronic acid and absorbs beautifully into the skin, making it ideal under foundation.
Hydra-Filler is a collagen production booster and is packed with important ingredients that have a powerful anti-ageing effect on the skin.
I was quite thrilled with the results I achieved using Filorga products, especially since I put them to the test on my ageing skin in such cold conditions.
There’s a full line of Filorga products available that are great for all skin types, including masks, which are quite glorious.
My verdict: it’s definitely worth giving Filorga a try!
