We’ve made it! Here is my last video in the cheek and lip injection series! I wanted to mention a few things about this journey I have been on.
The filler that was used in the injections is a Teosyal product. That is a Swiss brand that manufactures dermal fillers and there were two different ones used.
One was a dermal filler made for areas like cheeks. That is a thicker formula. Once injected, it has a lifespan of two years if you are lucky. The one for the lips will last perhaps last for six months. They say maybe eight, but that seems unlikely, it all depends on your metabolism and a lot of other factors.
Why Use Fillers?
The biggest reason to use fillers is to give volume. When we age a lot of us will lose volume – that puffiness in our cheeks. Over time, we can get a hollow, flat look.
What can happen is, gravity takes hold and jowls can form and the nasalabial folds deepen. So when you fill the cheeks, the nasalabial folds tend to flatten out. The lips tend to get a little thinner and lose volume as well.
Will I Do Fillers Again?
I was very happy with my results! They gave me a little bit of freshness and a boost that I really enjoyed!
I have always used anti-aging products and will continue to do so. But you can’t achieve the type of boost that you can from fillers and those kinds of treatments.
So I’m a fan, and I know that I will continue to be a fan – I would definitely do it again!
No More False Lips!
Even from a practical standpoint for my lips, and even though I’m a make-up artist, I really enjoy no longer having to make my lips look bigger. I am no longer constantly drawing and filling them in to make them look like they used to be.
So if you are thinking of having a similar procedure I’m hoping that coming along on this journey with me, going behind the scenes with my numbing cream and all, will help you decide. If you have had it done and you would like to share your experience, that’s what it’s all about! I would love to hear your comments. I would also love to answer any questions you might have.
I will definitely be repeating that process. It’s a little more money than a lot of people want to spend, but if you are able to, I highly recommend it.
